PARTICLEBOARD Particle board is a panel product. It is produced by gluing particles of wood such as flakes, shavings, or splinters which are produced when cutting or breaking. As the final usage of the board is unknown, the manufacturers have to produce round-boards that satisfy almost all requirements. When it is used as a cabinet door, stiffness in torsion is required. When it is used for veneering the surface must be perfectly plane, it should not have any depression or cavity which might affect the quality of the veneer. Besides, it must have the same thickness, same weight, uniform structure and uniform strength, so that it has clear and well-defined cuts all over the structure. For the production of particle boards what is needed is a well-planed manufacturing process and quality inspection.
