Guatemala exported 1,000 m3 of teak logs and sawnwood from January to March 2006, up 20% from 2005. About 93% of these exports went to the Indian market. Other export markets were Italy and USA, which imported $30,330 and $15,650 in March. These countries had accounted for a combined 27% of Guatemala's teak product exports in 2005.
