PANELEXPO 2009 ANTICIPATING MORE PARTICIPATION

Panelexpo2009, which is scheduled at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 2-5 April 2009, is expected to draw more visitors and exhibitors. The delegates from FIPPI and FDI (the organizers of Panelexpo)who participated in the ASEANWOOD WOODTECH Malaysia, with the motive to promote Panelexpo 2009, got enormous success. The Panelexpo booth attracted visitors in large numbers. Many of them showed interest to participate or visit the fair. Among them were, Malaysian Timber Council, Malaysian Furniture Entrepreneurs' Association, Malaysian Panel-Products Manufacturers’ Association and Malaysian Furniture Industry Council; who showed keen interest in Panelexpo fair. Panelexpo was also successful in the WMF International Exhibition on Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Manufacturing Equipment, held in Beijing, earlier this year. During the visit, the Secretary General of China National Forestry Machinery Association(CNFMA) reiterated their interest in having closer business ties with India and assured of large Chinese participation at the forthcoming Panelexpo.
