Its salient features are as follows:
It is equipped with Nuprin rubber rollers. It has heavy duty reduction
gears. Its threading life is double. The body of the glue spreader is heavy.
The brackets of the spreader are made of castings. It is single
shaft-driven. The accurate gripping of the rollers of the new glue spreader
enables uniform spreading of the glue. No sign of glue lining appears at the
end-edges of the board and the ply.

VENEER
DRYER (KALYAN INDUSTRIES)
The machine with all its uprights which hold the pipe rollers
through C.I. Bushes are of 75x40 mm. Channel and are thus of he avy
duty construction. To match with Heavy Channels the C.I. bushes are also
made bigger in size which increase the durability. All the insulation boxes
on the sides, roof and door are provided with intermediate baffle sheets to
eliminate sliding of the Glass Wool Downwards. It has been practically
experienced that due to continuous
use the glass Wool tends to shift downwards leaving hollow cavity on the top from which tremendous heat is
lost, which ultimately bring down the efficiency of the dryer. The Axilal Flow fans are made from Special Aluminium Alloy and are dynamically balanced.
The Axial Flow fans are directly mounted on the motor shafts, thus eliminating the use of V-Belts. Resulting in easy operation and lower maintenance cost.
Dryer is provided with latest Electronics Gadgets. Variable Speed Box (Dyno Drive) is provided to give trouble free service and easy control of speed variation.

The machine is a strong compact structure, great precision of
construction, highly automatic, practical and safe operation.
THE MAIN BODY
The main frame of log peeling lathe is fabricated from heavy plates with
stress relieved. The work spindle and drive system are housed in the
spindle heads on both sides of main body. All the spindle drive gears are Helical and hobcut
or by quadruplex chain which ensure smooth running of the machine to produce fine
Veneer free from brakes and cracks, Provision for the automatic lubrication to all
the moving part are given. Knife carriage of the machine is very rigid which prevents any
sort of bending or vibration of the Peeling Knife.
